How does it work?

Well, to put it simply, just give us a call or text! We offer free pick up and delivery within 15 miles (for orders over $30), and our turnaround time is typically 24 hours for most orders.

Can I drop off my equipment to you?

Certainly! I recommend morning hours (8-12) for pick ups & drop offs, as I often have to leave in the afternoon to handle deliveries. If you have to drop off after 12, I recommend you call or text before heading over, just to confirm I am still there.

How do you sharpen my clipper blades?

Your clipper blades are disassembled, cleaned, and sharpened on a Andis plate with an aluminum oxide grit. Afterwards they are thoroughly cleaned  with a degreaser, demagnetized, dried, hollow ground tested, reassembled, re-tensioned, and adjusted before testing.

How do you sharpen my scissors?

If your shears are convex style, they are sharpened  by hand on an Arius Eickert flat hone. If they are bevel style shears, they are sharpened and honed on a Twice as Sharp machine. After sharpened, they are cleaned and reassembled with the correct tension before testing.

How do you sharpen my knives?

Your knives are sharpened and honed by hand with a Slicing Edge sharpening system, utilizing paper wheels and a fine silicone carbide grit.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit cards, check, Venmo, and Cashap

Do you offer a warranty for your services?

Due to many variables, such as care, usage, quality of metal, and maintenance, I do not offer a static warranty for longevity of edges remaining sharp. As an example, if a freshly sharpened knife of lower quality is thrown into a drawer, or a clipper blade is ran through a muddy dog coat and stored damp/dirty, the longevity of their edges are greatly reduced.

Regardless, your tools will be thoroughly tested and sharp upon immediate return, and if there is any issue you do have with them, please contact me. I never want any customer paying for dull tools, and strive to maintain an extremely satisfied client base.

What can't you sharpen?

As of right now, I do not offer sharpening services for:

Saw blades, chainsaw blades, drill bits, electric hedge trimmers, planar blades, woodworking tools, industrial tools, dental tools, serrated knives
